The idea of the Vivelys solution is to provide you with the means to master the measures and product orientations which will promote the development of your enterprise.
In summary: your product depends on the soil, climate, grape variety and ageing method. You may then – depending on to your adopted strategy – orientate your product towards major taste preferences (mass consumption), or alternatively you may prefer to maintain a culture of difference and originality. The choice is yours.
The four Vivelys modules
The four essential elements of the Vivelys ‘toolbox’ are: Preliminary audit, Production management, Information management and Sensorial Analysis.
1 - Preliminary Audit
The Vivelys group of experts takes a snapshot of your enterprise in order to provide consultation exactly tailored to your objectives and the means at your disposal.
The following points are examined, if you wish :
• PRODUCTION ---> vineyard structure, management of vinification schemes, viticultural equipment, hygiene, information management.
• PRODUCTS ---> stock, commercial range, product strategy, consumer perception.
• ENTERPRISE ---> personnel organisation chart,
relationships between departments, procedures,
human potential, enterprise strategy. All audits and
suggestions for drastic improvements are insured by
our privileged partner, the "Groupe Triangle".
After the audit has been written and presented, a report will be compiled analysing the strong and weak points of your enterprise. A comparison will be made with the current standards employed in viti-vinicultural industries, and we will propose a scheme that integrates all or part of the Vivelys Consulting solutions.
2 - Production management
Definition of the products in conjunction with the Vivelys ‘Sensorial evaluation’ module.
Determination of vineyard potential.
Evaluation of the grapes at harvest.
Vinification management.
Management of ageing.
Preparation for bottling and packaging.
Microbiological monitoring during the principal phases of production.
Setting up of experiments to validate certain schemes.

3 - Information Management
We work on the organisation of technical information within your enterprise to ensure greater control of the production process. Production is managed using the Vivelys expert system based on fuzzy logic algorithms; this remains the optimum approach for mimicking human judgement. Our expertise complemented by your own generates intelligent production.
4 - Sensorial Analysis
An essential tool for production management
PERSONNEL INVOLVED
Production department (managers, technicians), Sales department (commercial and marketing managers, sales force), Director.
PHASE 1: IMPLEMENTATION ---> constitution of a panel of tasters (sensorial evaluation) and training (recognition of aromas and definition of their intensity).
PHASE 2 : OPERATION ---> Definition of the product, monitoring and direction of production process, monitoring of experiments, external operations (consumer evaluations)
The members of the Vivelys team organise the setting up of the tasting panel, training, the use and treatment of data provided by Vivelys sensors, meshing this data with information from the production facility (see the module on ‘Information Management’)
